Over the last year or so this site has had some very dedicated users. To show my appreciation to those users, I decided to completely wipe everything out. Okay, that doesn't sound all that great. Fortunately what we have now is a far more versatile CMS that will allow us a lot more functionality and options making this truly the best Big XII Sports site. This place was started since there was virtually no place for Big XII fans to gather and discuss on their own terms with respect, intelligence (debateable), and above all freedoms.

For all new users - welcome! I think you'll truly be pleased. If you're unsure how this place functions feel free to jump right in and someone will right the ship on you soon enough I guarantee it. If it comes to it, I have no fear of banning. I make no money here. I am not in business. I do not need you here to survive. The rules are pretty simple here, and you are given a ton more freedom than most places you will find, so I don't think it's too much to respect that. Read the FAQ (coming soon) or ask questions if you like. Welcome!

Now for the fun part. Okay now what?

This site now offers a lot of functionality. But what does that mean? Well, let me tell you what I need from you to make it all work. This is a site for fans, from fans. Everyone is part-owner that contributes.


-Web Links. Submit Links. Links to sport sites, favorite sports radio stations, favorite team sites, blogs, etc. Anything relating to the BIG XII.
-Articles. Write your own. This can be about football, basketball, your own team, expectations, etc. Just try to keep it BIG XII related so I don't have 5000 topics.
-Moderators. Still needing some mods to fill up the boards
-USERS!! Word of mouth got this place off to a great starts. Somehow we need to get more users (particularly from kU, CU, KSU, NU). Not sure what's going on with North teams, but the South fans are really running away with it around here. C'mon North fans, show up and speak!
-Suggestions. I'm always open to them. Even if I don't like it, it might set off a lightbulb and give me another idea. It can never hurt to toss some hare-brained thought my way.
